District Activities Lead

The District Activities Lead is responsible for pretty much anything that needs a permit. They manage the various adventurous activity teams in the district and encourage and enhance the district’s permit capabilities.

The role is responsible for:

  • Encouraging people from all over the district to develop their adventurous skills and gain permits once comfortable.
  • Recruiting activity focused volunteers from within district and those new to Scouting.
  • To enable and support activity team leads to strengthen their activities within district.
  • To ensure that all activities are being developed in a safe, supportive and fun manner.
  • To assist the DLV & District Nights Away Team Lead to approve Night Away.
